EOS Canada is happy to announce its support of the launch of the BOS mainnet by becoming a Block Producer. As builders of data infrastructure for developers with dfuse and eosq, we are even more excited by how we can leverage both chains to bring more value to the many EOSIO chain users.
Months ago, EOS Canada began work on a smart contract to fulfill the promise of on-chain referenda for the EOS mainnet. The eosio.forum contract is now ready to become a system contract. We have created a multisig proposal for review by Block Producers and would like to run through the proposal.
Since the mainnet launch back in June, organized mass Block Producer calls have become more sparse. Lately, EOS Canada has taken part in many discussions surrounding the recent greylisting of accounts, and regarding the memory leak issues that have been noted by Block Producers across the ecosystem.
EOS Canada was pleased to be invited to the first EOS Community Conference in Seoul, South Korea, initiated by EOS NodeOne. Dr Richard Reiner of EOS Canada, participated in the panel discussion 'Mainnet Infrastructure & Security' moderated by Matias Romeo / EOS Argentina, and included Igor Lins e Silva / EOS Rio, Eric Björk / EOS Sw/eden, Eugene Luzgin / EOS Tribe, and John Milburn.
